National cricket all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan on Sunday has appealed to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to lessen the duration of his ban from all forms of cricket.
Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, acting chief executive officer of the board, has confirmed regarding the matter to the journalists, reports a private TV channel.
“I will submit the application to the board,” he told the reporters.
Replying to the queries, he said: “I hope the board will consider the matter within the shortest possible time.”
On June 7, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) banned national cricket all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for six months from all forms of cricket on charges of breaching rules.
