South Africa scored 160 runs in 20 overs losing 8 wickets while chasing against Sri Lanka in the opening Group1 encounter of the ICC T20 World Cup at MA Aziz cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock made a sensible start for the chase adding 48 runs before sent back to pavilion.

Sri Lanka started with opener Kusal Perera and Tillakaratne Dilshan, however Dilshan returned with a duck in a Dale Steyn delivery.
Kumar Sangakkara played a poor shot on Imran Tahir's ball and lost his wicket after a 14-run inning.
Imran Tahir's delivery sent Perera back to the pavilion with a 61-run innings.
He bagged 3 wickets in his 4-over spell giving only 26 runs, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel bagged two wickets each for the Proteas.
