The Volunteer Premier League (VPL) organised by Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD) the volunteer wing of JAAGO Foundation starts at the Rayer Bazar Boishakhi ground today.
The second edition of VPL will see Alphaq, Action Ninja, Bomb Squad, Red Submarine, Lion Sixer, Banglawash, Thunder (Chittagong), Silent Assassin (Rajshahi) vying for the title in the eight over matches. VBD initiated VPL last year, the final of the knockout basis tournament will be held tomorrow. Jaago Foundation is a civil society organisation (CSO) working towards alleviating poverty and illiteracy from Bangladesh. They introduced the first Free-of-Cost International Standard School exclusively for the underprivileged children and operates a number of supporting development projects to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
