Veteran fast bowler Mashrafe bin Mortaza has been named as the captain for the two-match Twenty20 international series against Sri Lanka in Chittagong in the absence of Mushfiqur Rahim. The matches are scheduled on February 12 and 14. Bangladesh Cricket Board selected Mashrafe for the position after regular captain Mushfiqur was ruled out of the Twenty20 series with a hairline fracture on his left hand little finger. Tamim Iqbal remained as the vice-captainof the side.
