All four men's cricket quarterfinals were abandoned because of rain, with no play possible in the Bangladesh-Malaysia and Sri Lanka-Nepal matches today.
Bangladesh, led by Liton Das, will face Pakistan in the semifinal on October 1. India will meet Sri Lanka in the other semifinal on the same day.
The weather could again play a decisive role. If the Bangladesh-Pakistan semifinal is abandoned without play, Pakistan would advance to the final because of its higher ranking.
