Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto was declared fit to play the second and final Test against Sri Lanka, starting Wednesday in Colombo.
"He will be available for the second Test," head coach Phil Simmons told reporters in Colombo Tuesday.
"He is fit and ready to play."
Shanto suffered a blow to his finger during a slip-catching drill and subsequently missed the practice session.
This is the second time in a week Shanto has taken a hit on the finger, having incurred pain in the same place ahead of the Galle Test.
He batted through the pain in the Galle Test and scored centuries in both innings as the match ended in a draw.
