The seasoned campaigner announced his retirement from international cricket Wednesday, bringing an illustrious 18-year career to a close.

In all, Mahmudullah played 430 international matches across formats, scoring 11,047 runs and taking 166 wickets.

“On behalf of the BCB, we celebrate Mahmudullah’s remarkable career and express our deepest gratitude for his invaluable service to the team and the sport. We wish him success in all his future endeavors and are confident that his wealth of experience will continue to enrich cricket in Bangladesh.”
