Bangladesh stand-in captain Liton Das credited their team effort for a first ever Twenty20 International series victory in the West Indies.
Although the Tigers had won a T20I series against the Windies back in 2018, two of the three T20Is which Bangladesh won to seal the series, were played in USA's Florida.
The series victory came after they were surprisingly whitewashed by the West Indies in their strongest zone - the One Day International format.
Few gave Bangladesh a chance to win the T20I series, a format in which they have been vulnerable always.
But the way they turned the tide was amazing to see, said Liton.
"It's all about team effort. We are in a good flow at the moment and we have to come and play good cricket again," Liton said after the men in red and green took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series Tuesday.
But the visitors had to fight hard to win the first T20I by seven runs.
In the second game, they toiled little, thanks to Shamim Hossain and the bowlers, who continued to be impressive with the cherry.
Bangladesh piled up only 129/7 with Shamim making an unbeaten 17-ball 35 on a tough surface.
The bowlers, led by Taskin Ahmed, then bundled the Caribbean side for just 102.
"I'm very happy, not only me but all the Bangladeshi people. We were looking for such a win," Liton remarked.
"When I faced the first-ball I knew it was very difficult to bat on this pitch, thanks to Shamim, he batted really well. Credit goes to all the bowlers. When we keep taking wickets, whoever new comes to the attack also gives us wickets."
After playing a key role in the first match, Shamim once again played a crucial knock to make his comeback series memorable.
"I'm so very happy, after a long time I have been back in the national team, I'm happy. My role is a finisher in the team and my role is to hit the ball. Last few months I have worked hard," Shamim said.
The West Indies captain Rovman Powell said the batting group let them down even though the target was not a tough one.
"At the start we made the right decision (to bowl first). When we look at how we get out, we have to rectify that. We felt that it is a different pitch, in the past it was low and slow, now a little bit more grass cover, felt it will come on," Powell said.
"Disappointing, as a batting group we have let down ourselves miserably in the last few series. We have to reflect on things individually and then look at it collectively. The bowlers did well but as a batting group we have not come to the party and we are struggling to put in a complete game."
