The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match One Day International series against Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates.
Shakib al Hasan was not included while Mehedi Hasan Miraz has been appointed vice-captain and Nazmul Hossain Shanto will continue to lead the side.
Fast bowler Nahid Rana is the only uncapped member of the side.
Liton Das is a notable omission.
He was not considered for selection as he is still suffering from fever which had kept him out of the second Test against South Africa.
The Bangladesh team will depart for Dubai in two groups Saturday and Sunday.
The first match will be played on November 6 while the second and third are slated for November 9 and 11 respectively.
All the matches will be held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
