The Bangladesh Cricket Board will hold an emergency meeting Wednesday at the conference room of the Youth and Sports Ministry.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan is expected to be present in the meeting through online, board insider said.
Several BCB directors confirmed that they got the mail about the meeting.
It was learnt that BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury sent an emergency email to the president, requesting him to hold a meeting in the wake of the chaotic situation, which emerged due to the board chief's no show following the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina-led government.
Insider said, president may announce his decision to step down from his post, paving the way for necessary reforms in the BCB.
Along with the president, some other BCB directors may resign from the board.
