Shakib al Hasan
Bangladesh eagerly needed their maverick all-rounder Shakib to perform in the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup. The left-arm all-rounder was below the mark in the first two games, against Sri Lanka and South Africa, and came under heavy criticism. However as expected, the former Bangladesh captain stepped out from the shell with a player of the match contribution in the previous match against the Netherlands. The southpaw remained unbeaten to deny a top-order failure and help Bangladesh post a defendable total. A similar contribution will be expected from Shakib against Nepal as Bangladesh eye to push into the Super Eight stage of the tournament. The condition at Arnos Vale Stadium in Saint Vincent has been in favor of the Bangladesh team and it will be expected the most experienced campaigner of the side will lead the way to grab the important win.
Sandeep Lamichhane
Nepal's most famous cricketer Sandeep can be the key to trouble the Bangladesh line-up. Nepal in the game have nothing to play for but pride. They would look to secure a respectable win before heading home and the side’s most experienced bowler will be expected to take the lead. Sandeep played his first international match since November when Nepal took on South Africa Friday at the Arnos Vale and was effective giving away just 18 runs in four overs. Sandeep has joined Nepal team as the late addition as the player was denied visa to the USA for being convicted of and then acquitted for rape. Nepal had cleverly named only 14 players to start the T20 World Cup knowing that Lamichhane will miss the first two matches and join the side in the Caribbean.
