The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the appointment of Mohammed Naveed Nawaz as the new Under-19 team head coach and batting consultant for junior age group teams under BCB’s game development.
The appointment, which is for two years, is effective from July 1, 2024.
Nawaz brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having served two terms with the Bangladesh cricket setup previously.
His first term, spanning from July 2018 to February 2020, saw him hold the position of head coach of the Bangladesh U-19 team.
Under his guidance, the Bangladesh team won the U-19 World Cup in South Africa in 2020.
