BCB appoints national team strength and conditioning coach

Kiely holds a Level 2 certification from the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association and brings with him extensive experience in both professional cricket and rugby league

Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the appointment of Nathan Kiely as the national team's strength and conditioning coach.

The Australian professional has signed a two-year contract with the BCB, commencing on April 15, 2024.

Kiely holds a Level 2 certification from the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association and brings with him extensive experience in both professional cricket and rugby league.

From 2018 to 2021, he served as a physical performance coach for Cricket New South Wales, contributing to various teams, including NSW Pathways, NSW Blues, and the Sydney Sixers (Women's Big Bash League team).

Prior to his tenure with Cricket New South Wales, Kiely served as a speed and agility coach at Roger Fabri's Speed & Agility Academy from 2017 to 2018.

Before joining the BCB, he worked as an athletic performance coach specializing in speed and reconditioning for the Brisbane Broncos rugby team.

Kiely's appointment reflects the BCB's commitment to enhancing the fitness and performance levels of the national cricket team, and his wealth of experience is expected to be a valuable asset in achieving these goals.
