Real Impact, the production partner of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, took the initiative to minimize displeasure of the production standard and make a better viewing experience for the supporters of Bangladesh cricket.
Real Impact has introduced latest technologies in the ongoing 10th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 with the ambition to match broadcast standard of the other T20 leagues around the world both on TV or online platforms.
The addition of latest graphics has already caught the eyes of the viewers in the BPL which also involved 4k technology.
Buggy and spider cam have been made part of the production, giving 360-degree view of the ground and providing the real time feeling of the ground and intensity of the game.
The setup has a total of 35 cameras operating alongside the likes of zing stumps, stump back camera, shield plotter and play tracker.
“The introduction of 4k in the BPL has taken it to the next level of coverage. Never before have we seen the quality here, enhanced for third umpire decisions. Zing stumps have made decisions easier and quicker. When you then add drone, field plotter, AR graphics, buggy and spider cam, Real Impact is providing a coverage not seen in Bangladesh before,” said Tim Finlay, broadcasting director.
To enhance the viewing excitement, world class international commentators like Aamer Sohail, Curtly Ambrose and Russell Arnold have been added to the roster in the seven-team tournament this year.
Ramiz Raja and HD Ackerman are expected to join the panel soon.
