Bangladesh are set to experience their busiest year in the longer version with 14 Tests lined up against seven different opponents in 2024.
The Tigers’ previous highest was the 10 red-ball games in 2022, which was followed by just four last year.
They will host Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and South Africa in six and face Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and the West Indies on the road in the remaining eight this year.
In a Twenty20 World Cup year, the men in red and green will also contest 17 20-over games excluding the showpiece event in the West Indies and the United States where they are guaranteed at least four group stage matches, three more in the event of progression to the Super 8s and possibly a further two in the semi-finals and final.
Bangladesh will only feature in nine one-day internationals in 2024, a stark drop from the 32 last year.
The Tigers will play all three formats in a bilateral series at home to Sri Lanka, on tour of Afghanistan and away to the West Indies.
