Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team on their first ever Twenty20 win against the Black Caps on New Zealand soil.
She extended her congratulations in a message issued Wednesday.
Bangladesh claimed a historic five-wicket victory over New Zealand Wednesday after their seamers ran riot in the three-T20 series opener in Napier Wednesday.
This was Bangladesh's first T20 triumph in New Zealand, four days after also claiming a maiden away one-day international success over the Kiwis in Napier.
