Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been roped in by Indian Premier League outfit Chennai Super Kings at the base price of Indian Rupees two crores during Tuesday’s player auction in Dubai.
Mustafizur, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam were all set for the auction but the Bangladesh Cricket Board only decided to give No Objection Certificate to Mustafizur.
Taskin and Shoriful were denied NOC owing to national team commitments with the Twenty20 World Cup taking place right after the conclusion of the IPL.
Mustafizur will be turning out for Mahendra Singh Dhoni's CSK after featuring for Delhi Capitals in the last two seasons.
Previously he won the IPL title with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
