The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium is all set to host a Test match after five years.

This was announced in a press conference Monday as the Bangladesh Cricket Board also revealed Dutch Bangla Bank as the title sponsor for the three-match One Day International series between Bangladesh and New Zealand.

The picturesque Sylhet Stadium was inaugurated as the seventh Test venue of the country in 2018 with the five-dayer between the Tigers and Zimbabwe, which the hosts lost by 151 runs.

The Kiwis are already here for the three ODIs, scheduled to be held at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday respectively, following which the two teams will travel to India for the World Cup.

After the mega event, the Black Caps will tour Bangladesh again for the two Tests, the first of which will begin in Sylhet on November 28.

The second and final Test will take place in Mirpur starting from December 6.
