Bangladesh U-19 cricket team are scheduled to depart Dhaka Tuesday to participate, firstly in the U-19 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates and then the U-19 World Cup in the West Indies.
Including two travel reserves, Bangladesh U-19 team are carrying 17 players for the two major cricket events.
Bangladesh in their first leg of the tour, in UAE, will take on Sri Lanka, Nepal and Kuwait in Group B of the Asia Cup.
The young Tigers will begin their Asia Cup campaign taking on Nepal on December 24 followed by matches against Kuwait and Sri Lanka on December 25 and 28 respectively.
Bangladesh U-19 team will play all the matches at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The semi-finals will be played on December 30 and the final a day later.
Left arm spinner Rakibul Hasan, one of the members of the 2020 U-19 World Cup winning side, will lead the team in both events.
Bangladesh following the Asia Cup will fly off to the Caribbean from Dubai to defend their world title.
