Saif Hasan was named captain with Zakir Hasan as his deputy as Bangladesh Cricket Board Monday announced the 15-member A team squad for next month's Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh A have been pitted in Group A alongside hosts Sri Lanka A, Afghanistan A and Oman while Group B comprises Pakistan A, India A, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates.
Saif and his troop will take on the home side in their opening game on July 14 before facing Oman and Afghanistan A on July 16 and 18 respectively.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, slated for July 21.
The final will be held on July 23.
