Victoria beat Orient in Women’s Club Cricket

Victoria Sporting Club beat Orient Sporting Club by 43 runs in the 5th Women’s Club Cricket tournament at the City Club ground yesterday. Victoria opted to bat first, but a poor start eventually saw them getting dismissed for 144 in 38.4 overs. Nasrin Nahar took four wickets for 19 runs and Asrafee Jahan took three wickets for Orient sporting. Naznin Nahar scored 28 runs for Victoria. In reply, Orient struggled from the beginning and saw themselves getting bowled out for only 110 runs. Player of the match Naznin picked up three wickets for 22 runs while Paprie Akter took two for 19 runs for the victors.
