Mohammedan Sporting club crushed Kalabagan KC by 134 runs in the ongoing women’s club cricket tournament yesterday. In the other game of the day Gulshan youth club beat BKSP by 5 wickets.
At the City club ground, Mohammedan chose to bat first after winning the toss and posted a total of 229/8 from 40 over. Player of the match Sathira Jakir smashed 86 runs, while skipper Salma Khatun scored 46. In reply, Kalabagan only managed to score 95/8 after 40 overs.
At the Dhanmondi Cricket stadium Gulshan Youth registered yet another win by defeating BKSP, who were bowled out for 100 after winning the toss. Gulshan Youth chased down the target in 30 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Tazia Akhter remained unbeaten on 26 to finish the match for Gulshan Youths.
