Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has become the second Bangladesh batsman to reach the 7,000 ODI runs milestone during the three-match series against Ireland at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium Saturday.
Shakib needed 24 runs to touch the landmark in the first one-day international against the Irish.
Tamim Iqbal is leading the chart for Bangladesh as the opener scored 8,146 runs in 233 innings with an average of 36.69.

Mushfiqur Rahim is third on the list with 6,901 runs.
Meanwhile, Shakib is the leading wicket-taker for Bangladesh as he reached the 300-wicket milestone against England in the last series.
