Right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed made use of the Adelaide conditions well and breathed fire when Bangladesh went to bowl first against India in the Group 2 fixture at the Twenty20 World Cup Wednesday.

Taskin has been in great form with the ball having bagged eight wickets ahead of the game already and two Player-of-the-Match awards.

Against India, he was wicketless but produced gem of a spell conceding just 15 runs as captain Shakib al Hasan finished his four overs inside the first seven of the innings.

Taskin gave away only two runs in the first two overs, including a missed opportunity of Rohit Sharma at backward square-leg by Hasan Mahmud.

The only low point was the consecutive boundaries against Virat Kohli in the third over but that had come from edges.

Taskin finished his last over conceding just five runs and with one of the best economies in the format for Bangladesh in a game - 3.75.
