Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed has been bowling impressively in the Twenty20 World Cup so far, despite two expensive overs against South Africa, and the right-arm quick continued his rhythm in the all-important game against Zimbabwe at the Gabba.
For the third time in a row in the tournament Taskin produced a breakthrough in the very first over and gave Bangladesh a solid start.
Gabba pitch usually offers good pace and bounce to the fast bowlers and Taskin used it well against Zimbabwe, and started creating pressure from the beginning.
Bangladesh were defending a moderate total of 150 at the Gabba and a good start was needed from Taskin and he did exactly what his team would have hoped from him.
Taskin finished the game with bowling figure of 4-1-19-3 and was adjudged man of the match.
Bangladesh have now won two out of three games and on both the occasions, he was the player of the match.
