One of the major questions regarding Bangladesh's recent T20I performances is, which pair of batsmen will open the batting in the Super 12 stage games of the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup?
Bangladesh have Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar as top-order batsmen and the Tigers have even tried with the combination of Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Sabbir Rahman in the last few games, but that did not work out well.
Soumya and Shanto opened the batting in the last two T20 Internationals but Miraz opened the innings with Shanto in the practice game last week.
In Sunday's practice session Soumya and Shanto practiced at the center wicket as openers for a long time and it looks like these two will open the innings Monday.
It remains to be seen who open the innings eventually.
