Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in on verge to emerge as the second fastest bowler to 100 wickets in T20I. At the same time the left-arm pacer is on edge to become the second Bangladesh bowler and fifth in the world to get to the 100 wickets in the shortest format of the game.
Mustafizur since his debut in the format in 2015 has played 73 matches for Bangladesh and has bagged 94 wickets in 71 innings. the 27-year-old is six wickets away from getting the 100th. Mustafizur stands in front of the milestone at the back of a long sustaining below-par form.

To register as the second fastest to the 100 wickets in T20I Mustafizur will need to pick the six wickets in three games.
Bangladesh is currently touring New Zealand for the T20I Tri-Series involving Pakistan and hosts New Zealand. Bangladesh started the series on a losing note, with a 21-run defeat against Pakistan. Bangladesh in their second game of the series, will face New Zealand on Sunday.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan is on top of the list with 100 wickets in just 53 games. Sri Lanka pace legend Lasith Malinga is at number two having achieved the milestone in 76 games. Bangladesh left-arm spinner Shakib al Hasan and New Zealand speekster Tim Southee are the other two to have reached the milestone.
