Bangladesh cricket team will leave here for Dubai Thursday evening for the two-match SKYEXCH Friendship Twenty20 series against hosts United Arab Emirates.
The 17-member squad, to be led by wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan, will depart at 5:30pm.
T20 captain Shakib al Hasan will not be available for the series due to his stint at the Caribbean Premier League T20.
The two day-night matches, scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday, will start at 8pm Bangladesh time.
The Tigers will return home Wednesday.
The men in red and green will then leave for New Zealand for the tri-nation T20 series against the hosts and Pakistan which will serve as preparation for the T20 World Cup in Australia.
Following the tri-series Bangladesh will fly off to Australia to play two warm-up matches against Afghanistan and South Africa, slated for October 17 and 19.
Bangladesh will begin their T20 World Cup mission in Hobart on October 24, taking on the runners-up side of Group A.
