Bangladesh women’s cricket team will play 50 matches, revealed International Cricket Council in its first Future Tours Program for women’s international cricket.
The 2022 to 2025 FTP cycle involves 10 international women’s teams who will play 301 matches.
Bangladesh in a mix of ODI and T20I will play 50 matches in the cycle.
Bangladesh women’s cricket team will begin the FTP with tour of New Zealand this year for three ODIs and as many T20Is.
In 2023, Bangladesh will travel to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and a three-match T20I series.
In middle of the year, the women’s team will host India for three ODIs and as many T20Is.
In October-November, Bangladesh will host Pakistan for the same number of games as India.
Bangladesh will then travel to South Africa to play a three-match ODI series followed by three T20Is.
The women in red and green in year 2024 will host Australia for three ODIs and as many T20Is and then host Ireland for three ODIs and five T20Is.
In their last series of the FTP, Bangladesh women’s team will tour the West Indies to play three ODIs and a three-game T20I series.
The three-match ODI series will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
The top five teams in the championship alongside hosts India will directly qualify for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
