Bangladesh ODI captain Tamim Iqbal, T20I skipper Mahmudullah, all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and former captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza led the tributes for their women counterparts, who defeated Pakistan by nine runs in Hamilton Monday to register their first ever win in the ODI World Cup.
Alongside the national cricketers, male players of all age and categories in the country were full of praise for the brave Tigresses, who eventually scripted a momentous victory after posting their highest ODI total.
