Bangladesh left-arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman has been included in the International Cricket Council's best XI for T20Is in 2021.

World cricket’s governing body revealed the best XI on its official website Wednesday.

The ICC stated, “The Bangladesh left-arm seamer again ruled the roost in T20I cricket in 2021 with his clever variations and change of pace. Lethal up front and at the death, he scalped 28 wickets in 20 matches at an average of 17.39. He also proved tough for the batters to get away as proven by his economy of seven.”

Mustafizur has played 61 T20Is in his career so far and taken 86 wickets with an economy of 7.63.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has been nominated as the captain of the best XI.
