Over the two decade period, the website has become the pre-eminent name in all things cricket and thousands, if not millions of cricket aficionadas tune in to the site every day to get word of the latest happenings in the “gentlemen’s game.”
“We begin celebrating 20 years of the existence of the website that is now part of the game’s fabric, we must first pause to give thanks. I speak here as a fan of the game and of Cricinfo long before I became a part of it: it is difficult now to imagine life without the site,” wrote Editor-in-chief Sambit Bal on the occasion.
