10 fast bowlers got selected along with four stand-by on the final day of Sylhet Strikers Pacer Hunt 2023 held at Sylhet Outer Stadium, Lakkatura, Sylhet on Wednesday.
More than 550 bowlers participated in the two-day long pacer hunt. The minimum bowling speed was set at 75mph by the selection panel.
Winners of the hunt will be given the opportunity to bowl in the Sylhet Strikers nets during the 9th BPL T20 set to begin on January 6, 2023 and work closely with the coaching panel and cricketers from both home and abroad.
The winners will also be part of a virtual session with former Bangladesh fast bowlers Hasibul Hossain Shanto and Tapash Baisya.
Sylhet Strikers head coach Rajin Saleh and members of the coaching panel Syed Rasel and Russel Ahmed along with other team officials are part of the selection process.
