Family members of all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, who is currently on tour with the national team in South Africa, have been admitted to the Evercare Hospital with various illness.
A source from Shakib’s family confirmed the information to Bangla Tribune on Sunday midnight.
It was learnt that, Shakib’s mother Shirin Akhter has been admitted to the hospital for last few days due to heart complications.
Shakib’s only son and second daughter have also been admitted to the hospital as they are suffering from pneumonia.
And his elder daughter is also suffering from cold and fever.
It was also learnt that, Shakib’s mother-in law is also admitted to hospital who is suffering from cancer.
Shakib has played the first two ODIs against South Africa in the tour so far and adjudged man of the match during their historic win in the first game.
Now discussion is going on within the team management and Shakib about whether he will take part in the remaining South Africa tour or return to home.
