BCB HP Unit continue winning down under

Riding on youngster Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s century, the BCB High Performance Unit registered their second consecutive win in Australia defeating Northern Territory Invitational XI on Thursday. The visiting side defeated the home side by 70 runs in the second of five one-dayers at Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin. Led by wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das, the BCB HP side batted first and posted 313 losing seven wickets in 50 overs. Defending the target, the BCB HP bowling attack restricted the opponent to 243 as seamer-allrounder Saifuddin picked up four wickets and pacer Ebadat Hossain bagged two.

The BCB HP Unit will play their third one-dayer on Friday while the fourth and fifth matches are scheduled to be held at the same venue on Sunday and Tuesday respectively.
