BCB International Panel Umpires Sharfuddowla Ibne Shahid Saikat and Masudur Rahman Mukul are set to officiate in the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup 2020 in South Africa.
This is the first time that the ICC has appointed two Bangladeshi umpires for an ICC event.
Masudur Rahman will officiate seven matches in total including warm-up games while Sharfuddowla will officiate eight games in total.
Both these umpires are officiating International matches for ICC. Masudur Rahman is officialting first class games since 2000 while Sharfuddowla is officiating first class games since 2007.
They will leave for South Africa Tuesday.
