Mushfiq included in Fox Sports’ Test team of the decade

Mushfiqur has played 53 Tests in the ongoing decade and scored 3531 runs

Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is selected in the best XI of the men’s Test team of the decade by renowned Australian channel Fox Media.

Mushfiqur has played 53 Tests in the ongoing decade and scored 3531, just behind the most run getter of the Bangladesh during this epoch-Tamim Iqbal- who has made 3719 runs in 46 Tests.

In this prolific era, the 32-year old has scored six centuries and two double centuries as the only Bangladeshi including his 219 not out against Zimbabwe that is the highest individual score till date in Tests for Bangladesh.

Mushfiq, who has played 69 Tests so far, made his debut back in 2005 but got his first century in 2010.

The other members of the Fox chosen side are- South Africa’s AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada,  England’s Alastair Cook and James Anderson, Australia’s David Warner and Steve Smith, India’s Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara.
