Bangladesh opener Liton Kumar Das got lucky twice in his 29-run innings off 21 deliveries, including four fours.
The first opportunity came in the last over of the powerplay when India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling.
It was the third delivery of the over when Liton charged down the ground and completely missed the ball.
India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant collected it nicely and took off the bails.
It looked a clear dismissal but Pant actually committed a basic mistake.
He seemed to gather the ball slightly in front of the stumps and the third umpire overturned the decision and later it was called a no-ball.
Lucky escape for Liton and he was on 17 then.
After eight failed attempts, including a number of tight encounters in recent years, the match will rightfully go into the history books of @BCBtigers cricket.https://t.co/O5BDNvGfPq#BCBTIGERS #BCB #TIGERS #BANGLADESHCRICKET #BANGLADESH #CRICKET #INDIA #BCCI #INDIACRICKET

In the very next over, Liton tried to slog sweep another spinner Washington Sundar and the ball went up.
It looked like a regulation catch but interim India skipper Rohit Sharma dropped it.
Another chance was created again in the same over against Liton, and this time, he could not survive.
Liton yet again charged down the ground, missed the googly from Chahal and the ball hit his thigh pad.
Liton tried to take a quick single but the run was not there at all.
Pant did not commit any mistake this time as his throw hit the stumps and Liton’s eventful innings came to an end.
