As many as 14 wickets fell on the opening day of the first three day-match between Bangladesh U-16 team and Pakistan U-16 side at Khan Research Laboratories Ground in Rawalpindi Friday.
Asked to bat first, the visiting side were bundled out for 204 in 63.5 overs, largely thanks to a 114-ball 84 from Redwan Hossain Siyam.
Captain Nayeem Ahmed chipped in with 54 and added 75 for the third wicket alongside Redwan.

Pakistan’s Ahmad Khan bagged four wickets while Ali Asfand and Aliyan Mehmood notched two apiece.
In reply, Pakistan posted 40 for the loss of four wickets in 19.4 overs before bad light ended the day’s play.
Bangladesh’s Ahmed Sharif and Mohammad Mushfiq Hasan picked up two scalps each.
Following the second and final three-dayer, the two teams will also lock horns with each other in three one-dayers during the course of the 18-day long series.
