The Dhaka First Division T20 Cricket Tournament 2019 is set to start from Friday with the participation of 20 clubs.
The occasion is the third for the First Division League clubs to compete in the T20 format.
Years 2014 and 2018 had the first and the second edition of a T20 tournament in the league.
The 20 clubs have been divided into four groups and all the 40 matches will be played at BKSP.

On the opening day, Group A and B will have two matches respectively in the first round.
In Group A, Uttara Sporting Club will take on Surjo Torun Club at BKSP ground 3 while at BKSP ground 4 City Club will face Orient Sporting Club.
The Group B matches will be played at the same venues in the afternoon.
BKSP will play against Indira Road Krira Chakra while Kalabagan KC will lock horns with Azad SC.
