Bangladesh A have taken a 15-run lead as they posted 283/6 in 67 overs in the second day of the second and final four-day match against Sri Lanka A at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota Saturday.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Mominul Haque were the stars of day two as the former bagged seven wickets while the latter scored a ton to put the second-string Bangladesh side in a decent position.
Sri Lanka A resumed the day on 223/5 in 74 overs with Miraz grabbing three wickets out of five on the first day.
He continued to shine in the second day as well as he finished with figure of 7/84.

The Lankans added 45 losing their remaining five wickets in 16.2 overs.
Bangladesh A’s innings started poorly as they lost two wickets with only 22 runs on the board.
Skipper Mominul (117) led from the front with opener Shadman Islam (77) as they built a solid partnership of 158 runs.
