Liton Das is the sixth Bangladeshi to take part in the Caribbean Premier League T20 but his maiden campaign ended in disappointing fashion as his side Jamaica Tallawahs finished bottom.

Two-time champion Jamaica, previously a regular presence in the playoffs more often than not, lost by 77 runs to Guyana Amazon Warriors Thursday night.

Jamaica, in pursuit of 157, were bundled out for just 79 in 16.3 overs with Liton scoring the joint highest 21 for his side.

The Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman, who played the last matches of the group stage, struck two fours in his 25-ball innings as the Tallawahs ended their campaign with just two wins.

Liton scored a run-a-ball 21 on his CPL debut against Saint Lucia Zouks.
