Bangladesh U-23 team lost to India U-23 side by 49 runs (Duckworth/Lewis method) in the third one-dayer of the five-match series in Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Batting first, India scored 114 runs in 22 overs without losing any wicket before rain stopped play. The D/L method put a difficult target of 174 runs in 22 overs in front of the junior tigers.

In response, Bangladesh’s batting order crumbled and got all-out for 124 runs, losing the match comprehensively.
With this victory, India have gone 2-1 up in the series. Bangladesh had lost the first match by 34 runs before winning the second match by 5 runs (D/L method).
The last two games of the series will be held on Wednesday and Friday in the same venue.
