U19s to fly to New Zealand Monday

The side will be led by young wicketkeeper-batsman Akbar Ali with top-order batsman Towhid Hridoy as his deputy

A 15-member Bangladesh U-19 cricket team will leave Dhaka Monday morning for a 20-day long tour of New Zealand. 

The side will be led by young wicketkeeper-batsman Akbar Ali with top-order batsman Towhid Hridoy as his deputy.

Bangladesh U-19 in the tour will play five youth ODIs against the host.

The Bangladesh U-19 outfit have been passing a busy time as part of their preparation for the U-19 World Cup 2020, to be held in South Africa. 

The five one-dayers against New Zealand U-19 will be played on September 29, October 2, 6, 9 and 13. 

All the matches will be played at Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln University in Christchurch.
