Afghanistan top-order batsman Rahmat Shah emerged as the first Afghan to register a Test ton.
The right-handed batsman scored 102 before giving it away to Nayeem Hasan in the 70th over.
Rahmat was key to Afghanistan’s build-up in the innings with the ton as he added 120 for the fourth wicket with Asghar Afghan.
Rahmat achieved the milestone in just his third appearance, as many for Afghanistan as a team, in the format.
The 26-year old in his second game, against Ireland, had fallen short by just two runs from the landmark.
