Nazmul Hossain Shanto was named captain and Yasir Ali Chowdhury his deputy as the Bangladesh Cricket Board Friday announced the 15-member Bangladesh Emerging squad for the upcoming three-match one-day series against their Sri Lankan counterparts.
Besides Shanto and Yasir, the Bangladesh Emerging team also features Nayeem Hasan and the talented Minhajul Abedin Afridi.
Seven players were also included as standby.

The first of three one-dayers will be held Sunday at BKSP while the second and third will take place Wednesday and next Saturday at BKSP and Khulna’s Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium respectively.
The two teams will also face each other in two four-day matches in Khulna.
The Sri Lanka Emerging side were scheduled to arrive in Dhaka Friday.
