The meeting of the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s directors was held at the BCB headquarter in Mirpur Saturday.
BCB boss Nazmul Hasan and other directors took several important decisions and later announced them at an official press conference.
In terms of reshuffling the coaching staff, BCB has appointed Charl Langeveldt as pace bowling coach and Daniel Vettori as spin bowling coach.
The BCB extended the contract of batting coach Neil McKenzie and strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayan and also extended the contract of the current selection panel.
The search for the vacant head coach post is still going on.

According to an official press release from the BCB, here are the major outcomes of the sixth meeting of the BCB board of directors held Saturday:
The board will invite an EOI for the immediate appointment of an international consultant for the construction of Sheikh Hasina Cricket Stadium Project in Purbachal.
The process for getting ICC accreditation for the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox’s Bazar will be initiated along with necessary development work for the venue.
The national selection panel of Minhajul Abedin and Habibul Bashar has received an extension up to the 2020 World T20I in Australia.
Bangladesh batting coach Neil McKenzie and strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayan have received contract extensions up to the 2020 World T20I.

The highlight of the BCB’s programs for celebrating the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be two T20 matches between an Asian All Star XI and a Rest of the World XI. These matches will take place between March 18-21, 2020.
The BCB will also hold an U-12 Cricket Carnival and a Youth T20 Tournament to mark the occasion.
An U-19 women’s cricket competition will be included in the BCB’s calendar for the first time.
The board approved the annual budget of BCB for the year 2019-20. The forecast revenue budget is Tk243.61 crore while the expenditure budget is Tk188.51 crore.
The board has decided to offer financial assistance of Tk10 lakhs each for ailing cricketers Mosharraf Hossain Rubel and Ram Chand Goyala and Tk two lakhs for senior sports journalist Mahbub Alam Khan who also has a serious medical condition. The board will also bear all treatment costs of Shamim Kabir, the first cricket captain of the national team, who has recently undergone a surgery.

The BCB annual general meeting 2019 will be held in October.
The BPL T20 will kick off with an opening ceremony on December 3 this year. The first match of the competition will be on December 6.
