Friday's 66-run innings against Pakistan at Lord’s saw him become the third batsman in history to score 600-plus runs in a single World Cup edition after Sachin Tendulkar of India and Mathew Hayden of Australia.
Tendulkar made 673 runs in 11 innings in the 2003 World Cup while Hayden aggregated 659 runs in 10 innings in the 2007 World Cup.
