Twitteratti from around the world took to social media to mark Bangladesh’s record seven-wicket win over West Indies in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on Monday.
The Tigers had their back to the wall and needed four wins in five matches ahead of the game and they kept their chances alive by roping an emphatic win over the Caribbeans. Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das were the two stars of the show for Bangladesh as the duo remained unbeaten on 121 and 94 runs respectively, and put a record 189 stand for the fourth wicket.

Congrats @BCBtigers on the win. Amazed to see how easy they chased down such a mammoth total. @Sah75official played with lot of responsibility to get his 2 consecutive 100 but I was very impressed with the maturity shown by young Liton Das. #CWC19 #BANvWI

Bangladesh is at number 5 on the points table. Shakib is at the top of the run-scorers list. Nice ? #CWC19

This was one clinical performance. The way Bangladesh played today and chased down 322, i hope we learn something out of it.

In the old days, the team would run on the field if they won a game. Not any more. It's becoming expected. This team looks great #Bangladesh #CWC19
