Hetmyer shines in crucial moment

Shimron Hetmyer scored a superb 50-run innings off just 26 deliveries which lifted the tempo of the Windies batting

Shimron Hetmyer came at a crucial period of the game when West Indies were 159 for 3 after 32.2 overs against Bangladesh during their fifth match of the World Cup at Taunton. 

Tigers were bowling after winning the toss and kept West Indies under check considering the run rate. 

But Hetmyer scored a superb 50-run innings off just 26 deliveries which lift the tempo of the Windies batting. 

Eventually West Indies scored 321 in their 50 overs and put a challenging chase to Bangladesh.

Hetmyer struck dour boundaries and smashed three sixes in his quick-fire innings.

He formed 83-run partnership with Shai Hope in the fourth wicket in just 42 deliveries which changed the momentum of the whole innings. 

Mustafizur Rahman removed Hetmyer in the third ball of the 40th over but the damage was done by then.
